ABSTRACT SUBMISSION
Abstract submission will commence on 01 OCTOBER 2024 and close on 15 FEBRUARY 2025
Presenting authors of the accepted abstracts are required to register for the Congress

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
* All abstracts must be submitted electronically through the Congress Website.
* Abstracts will be accepted in English only.
* Abstracts should not exceed 500 words in length.
* Tables and graphs/photos may be submitted; each will count as 100 words.
* There will be no limits on the number of abstracts you can submit and there will be no fees associated with submission of an abstract.
* A preference for Poster or Oral Presentation must be indicated at the time of submission.

REGISTRATION
Registration for the congress can be completed online via the congress website at www.burnmeeting2025.com

ACCOMODATION
BUTO is the official housing bureau for the Congress and will offer assistance with the housing requirements of all delegates. Hotel accommodation bookings can be made at the time of registration via the online or print form.

MUSEUMS

Ankara Ethnography Museum: A museum of ethnography dedicated to the cultures of Turkish civilizations.
Museum of Anatolian Civilizations: Considered one of the best museums of Turkiye , it displays artifacts from Asia Minor/Anatolian civilizations. The oldest artifacts on display date back to the Paleolithic era.
State Art and Sculpture Museum: Hosts galleries with temporary exhibitions as well as a permanent display of Turkish art from the late 1800s to the present.
Cer Modern: The recently-opened modern art museum of the city, Cer Modern is housed in the historic power plant building of Turkish Railways.
War of Independence Museum: This was originally the first building which hosted the Parliament of the Republic of Turkey and from where the War of Independence, fought in 1921-22 was directed, as evidenced by photographs and other items in the display. Waxworks of former Turkish presidents are also on display.
TCDD Open Air Steam Locomotive Museum: An open-air railroad museum, which traces the history of steam locomotives.
Çengelhan Rahmi Koç Museum: This museum, housed in an old Ottoman caravanserai, displays technological progress from the 1850s onwards. The museum contains various curios and collectibles including model trains to model sewing machines.
Ankara Aviation Museum: Various aircrafts, aviation items, and missiles are exhibitied, as well as a number of MiGs from the other side of the Iron Curtain.
METU Science and Technology Museum: Established within the campus of the Middle East Technical University, the museum aims to present the modern technological tools as well as technological past of Turkey.
MTA Museum of Natural History: This Natural History Museum can be found on the grounds of the MTA (Mineral Research and Exploration Institute of Turkey). The Museum, founded in 1935 under Atatürk’s directives, has displays of paleontology, mineralogy, petrognaphy and physical geology.

TRANSPORTATION

Please be informed that There is no direct bus or public transportation option available from Esenboğa Airport to Kızılcahamam.

To reach your destination using public transportation, you will need to take a transfer with Havaş Shuttle Company from the airport to Ankara Bus Terminal. From there, you can take buses bound for Kızılcahamam to reach the town with a transfer.

Traveling to Kızılcahamam by Bus:
Ankara, the capital of Turkey, offers bus connections from various cities to reach Kızılcahamam by road. Travelers aiming to reach Kızılcahamam by bus should utilize the AŞTİ Terminal, located approximately 80 km away from the town which is located in Ankara city center .Upon arrival at AŞTİ Bus Terminal, you can continue your journey to Kızılcahamam by using shuttle services available for this route. The travel time averages around 1 to 1.5 hours.
Direct bus transportation from the terminal to Kızılcahamam is not available.

Traveling from Ankara to Kızılcahamam:
Kızılcahamam, situated 80 km away from Ankara city center, can be accessed through various transportation options from both the city center and surrounding districts.
For bus transportation to Kızılcahamam, you can opt for bus route number 527. This route departs from Ankara Sıhhiye and passes through Ulus, Hükümet Konağı, and Soğuk Su Milli Parkı before reaching its destination. Alternatively, you can also use private minibuses departing from the Etlik area to reach Kızılcahamam by bus.
As this may be a little complicated for our quests we strongly recommend them to ask from us to arrange a transportation service when they are filling up the registration and accomodation form for the meeting.
